Banned Chinese Apps in India – The Central Government of India blocked 59 Chinese Apps that included the most popular Apps in India like Tik Tok, UC Browser, etc. The intelligence agencies of India has raised alarm several times in the recent past about malicious activities of Chinese Apps in India. The activities include monitoring & leaking the Data that violating the terms of use and several apps found carrying malware or spyware.

Why Chinese Apps Banned in India?

The Chinese Apps got banned in India because of Security of Data and Risk of Privacy.

According to the statement of Government Officials, these Chinese apps have been banned “in view of information available they are engaged in activities which is prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, the security of state and public order”.
